People want to embrace sustainability, wellbeing and naturals and wish to reclaim skills <\/b>that they view as being lost.<\/p>\n

Demand for DIY beauty recipes has risen exponentially in the last decade as we have realised that we can reject the beauty industry\u2019s damaging messaging, empower ourselves and learn how to create our own natural beauty products using herbs, flowers, roots and seeds. Lorraine Dallmeier is the award-winning CEO of Formula Botanica. One of the school’s first ever students, she became the CEO and Owner of Formula Botanica while she was on maternity leave in 2014 when the school was a tiny start-up, and grew it to its current size.<\/p>\n

Lorraine is on a mission to teach the world to formulate<\/b>, as she believes that formulation will allow us to step away from the beauty industry\u2019s damaging rhetoric and embrace sustainable beauty.<\/p>\n

A Biologist and Chartered Environmentalist by training, Lorraine loves plants, digital marketing and systemising business growth, which led to her being crowned the most influential person in natural beauty for 2020 as well as winning the Digital Achiever of the Year award from Google and Cosmetic Executive Women (CEW) UK in 2018.<\/p>\n

Lorraine is the host of Formula Botanica’s Green Beauty Conversations podcast<\/a>, where she interviews thought leaders on the future of sustainability and botanicals in beauty, as well as sharing her own thought-provoking opinions.<\/p>\n
